Concrete Resurfacing in Orange County
Worn, dull or cracked concrete gets a new surface instead of a new slab. Patios, pool decks, balconies, walkways, driveways, garage floors and interior floors. Orange County has trusted Crank since 1945.
Resurface it instead of replacing it
Replacing worn and cracked concrete is expensive. Resurfacing gives old concrete a new look for far less, and you can get the look of a high-maintenance material like stone or tile with low-maintenance concrete.
If it’s concrete, it can be resurfaced: the patio, the pool deck, the balcony, the stairs, the driveway, the garage floor, even interior floors. And every system we use adds waterproofing, so the concrete stays protected from moisture for years.
Done right and watertight.Durable, good-looking and easy to maintain, and the job is guaranteed.

What we resurface
Remodeling the pool deck or patio this season, or just want more curb appeal? Here is what we work on.
Patios and pool decks
Give a tired backyard or the pool area of your dreams a new surface that is slip-resistant underfoot.
Balconies and stairways
A durable, walkable, waterproof surface for balconies and outdoor stairs.
Driveways and walkways
The same systems that update patios give driveways and walkways instant curb appeal. The neighbors will notice.
Garage floors
The look of granite, terrazzo or even a checkerboard. Epoxy coatings protect the floor against oil, gas and other automotive chemicals.
Interior floors
Resurfacing works inside too, for a finished floor that is tough and easy to clean.
Decorative finishes
Color stained, stamped, stenciled or textured. In skilled hands, the only limit is your imagination.

Polished concrete floors
Polished concrete is the slab itself, ground smooth and finished, instead of a coating laid over it. We do it in garages, on patios and inside homes and businesses, finished to the level of shine you want.
It starts with the concrete you already have. We look at the slab first: cracks, old adhesive, uneven spots. Some slabs are ready to grind and polish. Some need repair first, and a few are better off resurfaced. We’ll tell you which, and why.

Concrete resurfacing questions
Is resurfacing cheaper than replacing concrete?
Usually, yes. Tearing out and pouring new concrete is expensive. If the slab is sound, resurfacing gives you a new surface for much less.
Can you resurface cracked concrete?
Usually. We repair the cracks first, then resurface. If the slab itself is failing, we’ll tell you before we quote anything.
What finishes can I choose?
Color stains, stamps, stencils and textures, plus clear topcoats. You can get the look of stone, tile, granite, terrazzo or even a checkerboard.
Will a resurfaced pool deck be slippery?
No. We use slip-resistant finishes for pool decks, patios, walkways and stairs.
Does resurfacing waterproof the concrete?
Yes. The systems we use add waterproofing, which protects the concrete from moisture for years.
